Day 11 in Taiwan - Day 2 in Taipei (Long Shan Si ~ Wufenpu ~ Raohe Night Market)

Day 11 in Taiwan - Day 2 in Taipei (Long Shan Si ~ Wufenpu ~ Raohe Night Market)

Whenever I come to Taipei, I will definitely visit LongShan Temple for good blessings. I had a bowl of Liang Mian after praying and it is very yummy and cooling for a hot weather of 33 degree Celsius... (If you are thinking of buying those pre-packed liang mian from 7-eleven back to your home country, I would advise you not to as those pre-packed liang mian tasted totally different from the one you ate at the stall and I was very disappointed...

Ever since I touched down in Taiwan, I have walking a lot to explore many places. Hence, I decided to give myself a good foot and body massage since there is a good promotion going on! Overall, the environment and my masseur is good. However, I think Bangkok's foot and body massage is still better and cheaper than Taiwan.

After my 2 hour of foot and body massage, I went to Wefenpu, the largest wholesaler district to stock up my wardrobe. Directions to go to Wufenpu. Alight at Houshanpi Station and leave the station by exit 1 (Wufenpu Commerical Zone), walk north along Jhongpo N. Rd to the intersection of Jhongpo N.Rd and Yongji Rd. They are open 7-day a week and most of the businesses resume business at around noon and close after mid-night. Perhaps the shops close earlier after 9pm on Sundays and please take note/photos of the shop's front & address if you are thinking of coming back to get your stuff later or another day. FYI, avoid going there on Mondays as the shop owners will be busy packing stuff and selling them to those big buyers to sell to other provinces so they will not have the time to entertain you. Re-arrange your schedule to visit Wufenpu on other days if you really to shop comfortably.

I only got a few bottoms as I don't really fancy their styles. After shopping at Wufenpu, I went to Raohe Night Market for my dinner. It is a walking distance from Wufenpu to Raohe Night Market. If you don't really know the direction, you can check with any of the locals there and they will be more than happy to tell you.

After dinner, I headed back to Homey Hostel...
